My name is Zach Valdry I am a film production major at the LMU|LA Film School. One of the best film schools in the country.

I have been making films my entire life and have worked on commercials as well as with other student run organizations. This campaign is for my short film "The Man" which will be split up into four to five parts. It is based off of the legend of the Fear Dubh or dark man a demonic entity that haunts forests. It stars four young adults going on a trip into the forest and while there they notice many strange occurrences beginning to crop up disrupting their lives forever.
This campaign is very important to me and my crew. We have been working on this idea for the better part of two years and would love to have you become a part of this journey. This short film will be put on YouTube and with enough traction will be submitted to SUNDANCE film festival.

The Impact
This film has been in pre-production for two years and along with the script being finished we have also begun the casting phase of the project. This project has given many people an opportunity to showcases their abilities in film and a dream come true for others. With your contribution it will allow everyone on the project have their dreams come true as well as being part of an epic horror film project.
Risks & Challenges
I have done film my entire life and have been apart of the film business before. However there are some risks to this such as equipment and hiring of people for the project. Organization is key in this project and me along with my team will push through these obstacles doing our best with what we have.
