WHO WE ARE

THE MAN WHO LOVED FLOWERS is a short film collaboration between writer/director O, producers Caity Sigler and Morrow Gordon, and cinematographers Ivan Ramirez and Joel Vargas. The film is currently in pre-production, but we need funds to really get the project off the ground (you can check out images of our perks in our gallery)! We are truly passionate about this film, and ultimately we're just a group of filmmakers trying to make something that will resonate with you.

Please note that we have the rights to Stephen King's short story of the same name, thanks to his "Dollar Baby" program.

The Man Who Loved Flowers

based on the short story

by STEPHEN KING

August 2012

The Man Who Loved Flowers is a dark tale that blurs the lines between love and insanity. People do incredible things in the name of love--both good and bad--and The Man is one whose kind, innocuous demeanor belies an inescapable darkness within him.

From the short story The Man Who Loved Flowers:

“If there were bloodstains on his suit, they wouldn't show, not in the dark, not in the soft late spring dark... his name was love and he walked these dark streets... and he would find her. Some day soon. He began to smile...”

BUDGET

Our goal is to reach $2200, and all donations will be put directly into the film.

  • Camera, equipment and lighting
  • Location/permit fees and transportation costs
  • Art direction (props, costumes, makeup)
  • Editing/post-production/sound editing
  • Craft services (for the cast & crew on set)
  • Music rights
  • Festival entry fees

CONTRIBUTION

We understand that money is not the only way to make things happen. We are grateful for the generous support of our friends and network. If you cannot make a donation, please help us get the word out. Share our campaign with everyone!
