"The New Class"-The Sitcom to Be

With the poignancy of "The Daily Show" and the whimsy of "Parks and Recreation"-"The New Class" brings with it a distinct brand of humor.  The kind of humor that sees the enormous disparities inherent in our current U.S. public-school system, and allows us to laugh at their absurdity rather than cry in despair.

Why this? Why now?

Quite simply, we are products of the public school system and want to give back. We want to make you laugh, but we want to use that laughter to encourage discussion and change. We believe in the teachers that drive the public school systems around the country, and we fully support their efforts to conquer the obstacles they are dealt- whether it be from higher ups or the students who they care so much about.

Class Requirements-(i.e.What We Need & What You Get)

The bare minimum we need to make this pilot is $4,500.  We've budgeted for equipment and rentals, SAG contracts,travel reimbursement and post-production.  Anything beyond that will be used to get this pilot in the hands of like-minded producers.
