The two most common materials used for shower curtains haven't changed for the past half century - and we should be wondering why they haven't...

Cotton and other fabric materials can be an attractive option though are prone to growing bacteria. As a result, they should be cleaned every couple of weeks, and since they’re not so durable, this means regular replacement is necessary.

Plastics hold up well to moisture and are more durable than fabric, but if you thought throwing out cotton shower curtains was bad, plastics are on a whole other level.

The New Normal shower curtain is constructed from Tyvek® a  high-density spun-bound fibre. Instead of traditional weaving methods,  our fibers are laid on top of each other in a randomized pattern, and then spun and bonded under high heat and pressure - these characteristics make for a shower curtain unlike anything in the marker for reasons such as breathability, antibacterial properties, recyclability and capable of receiving ultra sonic stitching... to name a few.
