I'm conducting a crowd fundraiser to put the final touches on my album "Destiny". My name is Mindy Davey and I'm a singer-songwriter from N.Y. Here is a brief bio of what brought me to this point in my career. For as long as I can remember, I have been bullied. My mom who was my bestfriend also became ill while I was going through being bullied, which led me down the path of becoming addicted to drugs at the age of 13. My teen years were tumultuous as I got deeper into the world of addiction. At the age of 19, I checked myself into rehab and decided to take back my life. I turned to music as an outlet and it has brought me to where I am today. I am currently working on my 2nd album that I call "Destiny". I flew out to Hollywood California in 2019 and met with Billboard Charting Producer Nathan Walters at Capitol Records, where we recorded "Drifting Away" which will be on the Destiny album. I have recently begun working with Grammy nominated producer Jan Smith also known as, “Mama Jan”. Mama Jan has and still works with industry giants such as Justin Bieber, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Drake (add other national artists to this). To complete "Destiny" I plan on going to Atlanta GA and work with Mama Jan to write and record the final song for Destiny. When I return from Atlanta, I'll be heading to Lost Music Studios in Jamestown NY to put the final touches on Destiny. There will be a substantial cost to complete these final steps so I'm reaching out to you all for help with this expense. I am creating a crowd fundraiser with a goal of $18,000 to complete this portion of my journey.
