We are 'BTE Productions' (Best Team Ever, of course) and we are making a short drama about the relationship between an overtaxed Father and an imaginative Son. 

Our Film - 'The Odds'

On a normal Sunday afternoon, a young boy and his Dad set off to the shops. Upon the way the boy finds interest in the smallest things, his young childlike imagination takes his attention away from the world around him.

In the adult world, the Dads mind becomes distracted by something more grown up, multiple phone calls that he keeps ignoring and more importantly, the local betting shop. He decides to leave his son alone outside of the shop whilst he enters and becomes engrossed in the opportunity for money...

We'd love to tell you the resolution - but to do that, we need to make the film for you to watch... And to do that, we need your help!

Time is Money - Money is Time

The only way we can succeed as film makers is by securing funding - and that is where you come in. WE need YOUR help to fund the production costs, ultimately enabling us to make this great short film.

Thanks to the University of Portsmouth filming equipment is free! Meaning its possible for us to make films on a small budget. However we still need funding for various aspects of production including; 

• Location and Filming Permits
  
• Actors, Costume and Special Effects
  
• Vital Props (Including a car)
  
• Travel and living expenses for the talented Cast & Crew
  

There also a small allowance in our budget covering entry fees for short film festivals - this is the best way to promote ourselves meaning we can continue to make films in the future.
