the fall semester of 2014 three UCA students teamed up to create The PaperBoy. Writer/ Director Thien Ngo, Producer Amanda Donoven, and Director of Photography Michael Johnson need your help in making this action packed short a reality.

THE STORY

The road to becoming a Paperboy is a difficult journey. One must be able to throw newspapers with lethal accuracy, fend off dogs, master 10 speeds, and evade oncoming traffic. Such is the journey of Sam Letterman. On his first paper run, Sam and his squadron get ambushed. Distraught, Sam and his friend, Peter, partner up to avenge his fallen friends and bring the truth to light.

The Details

Were asking for $2000. This amount is broken into several categories that are explained in the different sections of our video. We've cut cost just about everywhere we can. We have a cast and crew that is working for copy and credit, were borrowing our bikes and cars from friends and family, and the majority of our props are made from free copies of our schools newspaper. Even then, movies still cost money. Were focusing our budget on food for the cast and crew, props designed by the FrugalFilmmaker, simple costumes, and distribution. With your help we can make this world a reality.
