THE PENGUIN LADY
The Penguin Lady is a new Salt Lake City-based dance collective directed
by Natosha Washington. We create movement focusing on authentic human stories,
and above all else, The Penguin Lady values a connection with the
audience. We accomplish this by using emotion, vulnerability, and impact
in our human storytelling.
We are preparing for our debut performance, set to hit the Rose
Wagner Black Box Theatre September 4-6, 2014,
Please support our debut performance and become part of the
collective.

YOUR IMPACT
The Penguin Lady believes dance is more than moving and
creating. While both are important and intricate, dancing is a way to impact,
share, and move people to a clearer understanding of themselves, as well as the
ideas and concepts that we all deal with on a daily basis.
The Penguin Lady is an incredibly diversified group. This
enriches both the work we create and the audiences we reach. Our debut
performance is very special to us. It focuses on the beauty that we
all possess but so often is inadvertently over looked because of society’s
obsession with negativity. We enjoy shedding light on the positive.
Your contribution will allow us to bring our stories to the main stage, adding a little more light to Salt Lake City.
