Short Summary

The Plant is interpretable and wants to challenge its audience as well as have fun with them. This is a film that is thought-provoking but also ambitious with its quirky and surreal production design and above all, unique, as it aims to blend two vastly different genres and styles to create something truly creative and knowingly bizarre. We cannot wait to bring this monstrous but fascinating plant to life. 

What We Need & What You Get

We hope to raise £600 for our project as a huge part of it will go towards bringing the plant prop to life. By aiming to put the bulk of the budget into production design can truly reach the plants potential and entice the audience with the amazing use of materials and spectacular designs.

As a group of young, talented filmmakers we are all committed to producing the absolute best out of this film. Having support with the making of The Plant and our journey throughout, allows us to express ourselves creatively as well as allowing us to reach our goals of enticing our audience reaching the full potential of the film.

Risks & Challenges

In order to fulfil our aspirations of creating the most realistic prosthetic for our plant, we need to ensure the funds for the materials. With our shooting dates fast approaching for the beginning of May this could be a challenge.
