What We Need & What You Get
What we are hoping to achieve is a target budget of 5K, so we can make a feature length movie to be proud of. The short proof of concept has already been filmed and we hope this can entice you to join our exciting new project.
We promise to create a slasher that is traditional and one that will resonate with avid horror fans. Think Scream meets One Missed Call, ala the best 80s/90s slashers with modern trappings that leave a vulnerable group of friends, questioning their trust with their lifelong friends. An whodunnit character driven horror that will introduce you to a new creepy and memorable antagonist with a backstory like no other.
The Impact
Our aim is to bring a new villain into the horror realm that will make our contributors and all fans of the genre, gravitate to and hopefully make a sequel. Our antagonist is unique and diabolical and we hope our campaign can have a huge positive impact on the genre.
With your contributions, we can bring the well crafted death scenes to life, that feature in the script and utilise the special FX to its maximum.
All actors and crew need to be paid for their talent and hard work. By purchasing one of our many perks, you will be putting us closer to our target budget and helping us towards getting the feature length made. Post production costs also need to be paid. We really appreciate every single one of you and promise to deliver a slasher that slaps and is as gnarly as it can possibly be.
Risks & Challenges
Even if we dont reach our target on our first attempt, the movie will still be made and alot of our perks are ready to be sent out this month. Grab one and join The R.I.P Man Fan club!
