Hi Everyone!
The Real Georgia Peaches is a Documentary to TV projects based on African American and Island immigrant women in Georgia from 50's/60's.
The first part of the project will be interviews of African American women originally from Georgia that grew up in the 1950's and 1960's sharing their stories with our interviewer. The documentary will be filmed in black and white with several moments in color. They will share the challenges and accomplishments of growing up in that time of Georgia, with a focus on Atlanta. They will also share their observation of the real Georgia Peaches of today.
The second part of the project will be the TRAILER and PILOT for the proposed television show "The Real Georgia Peaches", similar to the documentary that will be filmed in Atlanta with a setting of the 1950's and 1960's. It will parallel the society issues but also the personal challenges of every day life almost like a reality show. The filming will be both black/white and in color. The focus of the film will take place at the Friday night hot spots and church on Sunday. This will also open the door for our Fashion Line.
The Launch Party for the Pilot will include participants dressed in the 50's and 60's clothing which can also be purchased through this brand.
