"The feeling that you get when somebody tells you, “Hey, you’re doing a great job,” it’s an amazing feeling." - Scott Keel.
When we were first approached to make a short promo video about Running With Those That Can't, it quickly became apparent that there was a bigger story to tell. After many months of following Scott and Honza, we discovered a truly inspiring story that we knew we had to share with as many people as possible so that more communities would be able to share in the same experience. Our primary aim has always been to give more young athletes around the world the opportunity to share the experiences of those lucky enough to have access to this charity in Prague. In supporting 'The Road Less Run', you are not just helping us make a documentary - you are actively helping to inspire others to set up similar charities and directly impacting the lives of young disabled athletes we haven't even met yet.
The film was shot over a period of months in 2013 for free, using a number of volunteers and generously donated equipment, including GoPros, Red cameras, Canon DSLRs and Sony HDCams. We have over 20 days of footage already and we have been working hard on the edit for the past few months.
This funds will be used to finish the edit with what we already have and then for colour grading, sound editing and mixing, original and licensed music, language transcriptions, legal fees and distribution and festival costs - to get the message out there.
UPDATE: Please note we will be screening our 15 minute short film - 'Running Together: The RWTTC Story', featuring excerpts from our documentary 'The Road Less Run', in Prague on Thursday 30th March. We would like to invite our contributors to come and join us and see this inspiring short promo film, meet the producers, directors and stars of the documentary and help promote inclusion for disabled athletes in sports. Check out the new perks, and if you have donated already then please email us at info@roadlessrunfilm.com to ask for an invite.

Charitable Donations:
The primary goal of 'The Road Less Run' is to promote disabled access and inclusion. If you have a favourite charity then please consider donating on their behalf. Just let us know which charity the donation is on behalf of and we will keep a running total for each charity - the charity will receive a thank you on our website for as little as $10. If enough people donate on behalf of your charity we will add those totals together to provide further advertising and promotion for your charity of choice. Our core belief is 'everything can be accomplished if you do it together' and raising awareness for one is raising awareness for all!
We will still finish the documentary, it will just take a bit more time and it won't be to the same level of quality - so probably won't be as likely to be successful in spreading the story and inspiring others to create similar projects. But we will still be doing our best to get the word out to as many people as possible and continue to search for backers elsewhere. Most importantly, if you donate to this campaign, you will still receive your rewards!
We understand that not everyone can afford to donate to the campaign, we want to thank you anyway just for visiting and showing your support. If you'd like to know more about the documentary then sign up for our newsletter so we can keep you up-to-date with all we are doing.
If you'd still like to help, then please consider sharing our campaign with your friends by clicking on any of the links next to the 'Back It' button above. Also, join us at any and all of our social media sites below and share with your friends:
