Over the last 6 months I have been posting a Rune Post series on my Instagram account. It is all based on my research into the Elder Futhark Runes. Each post is researched and illustrated by me. 

All of that hard work and energy was put into a complete 24 card Oracle Deck set based on the same Instagram posts. There will be the same information and same detail that was first introduced on my Instagram account packaged in a very lovely designed flip box and complete with a 16 page booklet with all the information you will need to start reading the Runes.

Timeline

I have the digital files completed and they are at the printer. I am waiting for my shipment to arrive and if the fund continue to grow I can produce more of these decks. I need at least another 250 sales in order to place another other with the printer.  I have already ordered one batch for the Kickstarter so I know how long everything takes to get to me. 

Delays are almost inevitable during production, and these decks take 3 weeks to print and another 10 days to get to me in the great Canadian North (almost north but still pretty far up there).Custom printing takes about 3 weeks because they are made by a small American print studio.  If there aren't more delays that I haven't accounted for, the decks should get to me about 5 weeks after I order them

I will then have 3 weeks to prep, package and ship pledges.

Delays always happen so june 2020 give us enough of a cushion for unforeseen circumstances. 

The actual box is about half as thick. The images are a digital mock up of what they would look like. 

The Deck

The Northern Mint Rune Oracle Deck is full colour 24-card deck with the names of each rune and the basic themes of that rune on the card. It is inspired by the land with images of the ocean and the rocky shore. 

Cards measure 2.75" by 4.75" and are printed on card stock to 330 gsm smooth finish with UV coating.

Designed in Canada and made in small batches from a print studio in the USA.

Card Specs

Cards measure 2.75" by 4.75"  with rounded corners on 330 gsm smooth finish with UV coating. They come enclosed in a tuck style box with an 16-page colored booklet explaining the rune divination meanings and a few reading layouts from simple to complex

Tarot Cloth

Tarot Cloth made from 55%linen, 45% cotton and is 18" by 22" in one of the designs below. The edges are serged in a colour similar to the main body colour of the cloth. The images below are a digital mock-up and actual cloth may vary slightly.

Risks and Challenges

The biggest and most likely risk is that it takes longer than expected. There are a lot of hurdles in production, and there are almost always unforeseen delays. I will keep everyone updated on any delays. A majority of the work is already completed, so I am confident in my ability to fulfill every single item on every single order. There may also be customs and duties charges based on your countries import policies. I cannot be held responsible for those charges. It is the buyers resonsilbility to know the VAT and taxes of their country.
