The Satanic Coloring Book - Volumes 1 & 2 is Jason's 12th crowdfunded project since 2012. Jason is also the creator of the Sci-Fi & Fantasy 80's comic book Lords of the Cosmos. In February 2021 Lords of the Cosmos #4 successfully funded on Kickstarter.

Customize your reward by adding on a variety of items that will enhance your coloring book experience.  From colored pencils, enamel pins, and even pages colored by Satanic personalities that worked on the book, you can tailor your add-ons to what you want.

Art is a personal journey, and as an artist I thank all of you for coming along with me for the last six years as I explored making Satanic themed artwork. I learned about my personal beliefs, got better at my craft, forced myself to learn some new skills, found inspiration, hopefully inspired others and was lucky enough to make some new relationships along the way.  

This project is the culmination of the entire six year experience, wrapped up as interactive books to showcase my Satanic artwork, and let you color inside (or outside) the lines.  This project is a celebration of all the great friends, old and new, I was able to collaborate with to create these illustrations.

Specifications

Volume 1 is 44 interior, 8.5"x11", B&W pages, printed double-sided on non-perforated 60# uncoated smooth paper with 80# gloss paper on the color covers with a saddle stitched spine.

Volume 2 is 32 interior, 8.5"x11", B&W pages, printed double-sided on non-perforated 60# uncoated smooth paper with 80# gloss paper on the color covers with a saddle stitched spine.

Schedule

Some of the interior artwork needs a few edits and there could be some new interior pages if stretch goals come into play during the campaign.  The back covers, credits pages and inside front covers all still need to be completed as the final touches if no other interior artwork is needed.  The balance of uncompleted work on the book should be done by the end of 2021, or if there are new interior pages, early in 2022.  After that I will focus on the printing and reward processing part of the project.

Shipping Details

Rewards that are books only will be packaged in flat cardboard mailers that protect against bending and damage and sent by media mail.   Add-ons could be mailed in a variety of paper envelopes, bubble mailers and priority packages depending on what is in an individual order.  As a creator, I wanted to give the backers flexibility on designing their own unique rewards.  In return, some flexibility is needed in how I ship orders with different types of postage and packing to keep pricing reasonable for backers.
