Paolo Chikiamco is a Manila-based Filipino writer whose has edited Alternative
Alamat (an anthology of stories that reimagine Philippine
mythology) and Kwentillion (a young
adult-focused comics magazine). His fiction has been published in such venues as Scheherazade’s
Façade, Philippine Genre Stories, Steampunk III: Steampunk Revolution, Lauriat,
and The Philippine Speculative Fiction series. He has also written comics
such as High Society,
Mythspace (a series
which uses Philippine folklore as the basis for a space opera tale), as well as
an interactive wrestling novel for Choice of Games called Slammed!

Timothy James M. Dimacali is a Filipino science fiction author
and the Science and Technology Editor of a major Philippine media network. His
short fiction “Skygypsies” is required reading in some Philippine

L.L. Hill’s fiction has appeared in the Third Flatiron

Phu Phra Bat National Historic Park and the adjacent Mekong River area of Nong

Alessa Hinlo writes fiction that spans the thriller,
fantasy, and horror genres. Born in the Philippines and raised in Northern Virginia,
she’s most interested in stories that reflect the push and pull of conflicting cultures
and feature people who fall into the spaces between. Her other interests

Olivia Ho is a writer born and based in Singapore. She owes the inspiration for her work to her parents—her mother, who taught her
how to love the history of her island, and her father, whose idea of steampunk
is “KILLER ROBOT SAMSUI WOMEN.” Besides writing, her other random talents
include Arabic bellydance, stage management, and knitting, and perhaps one day
all three at the same time.
Robert Liow, also known as Robert Bivouac, is a
Chinese-Malaysian writer currently living in Singapore. An advocate for racial
justice and diversity in media, he has appeared in the inaugural Singapore
Poetry Writing Month (“SingPoWriMo”)
anthology and several publications by Singapore’s Creative Arts Programme.
Pear Nuallak was born in South London of Bangkokian
artists. They studied History of Art jointly with SOAS and UCL (University of
London) focusing on Thai Buddhist art, hybridity, globalization, and
postcoloniality. They are interested in
food, fiction, disruptive domesticity, and textiles. They may be found on a
sofa in North London, having opinions while knitting.
Ivanna S. Mendels writes fantasy, science fiction, and
steampunk, even children’s picture books. Her Opera Dinosaur book was published in France and
another of her Asian steampunk short stories will soon be published in
Indonesia. Her steampunk stories are partly influenced by Alfred Russel Wallace’s descriptions of

Kate Osias has won four Don Carlos Palanca Memorial
Awards for Literature, the Gig Book Contest, Canvas Story Writing Contest, and
the 10th Romeo Forbes Children’s Storywriting Competition. She has earned a
citation in the international Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror for her story,
“The Riverstone Heart of Maria de la Rosa” (Serendipity,
2007). Her works appear in LONTAR: Journal of Southeast Asian
Speculative Fiction #1, various Philippine
Speculative Fiction anthologies, Horror: Filipino Fiction for Young Adults, Maximum Volume,
and the WFC Unconventional Fantasy (2014).
z.m. quỳnh huddles in deep East Oakland in a room tinged
with blue, nursing calloused hands worn down from the chronic transcription of
restless dreams. past lives have included scattered jaunts through urban
minefields with each misstep hinting at a life less easily mapped out by this

Nghi Vo lives on the shores of Lake Michigan, and her
fiction has appeared in
Strange Horizons, Expanded Horizons,
Crossed Genres, and
Icarus Magazine. She likes
stories about things that fall through the cracks and live on the edges, and
she has a deep love for tales of revolution (personal and political),
transfiguration, and transmutation. She’s a writer by trade, a storyteller by
nature, a volunteer by inclination, and a dreamer by design.

Trungles is a Vietnamese American comic artist living
and working in Minnesota. He specializes in fairy stories and fantastical
narrative works, borrowing heavily from ephemera and early 20th century illustrations for
children’s stories . His works include explorations of uneasy

Shelley Low is a Singaporean animator/illustrator
