Hello! My name is Liz Valasco. I operate under the name Vialcomics. For the past two years, I have made two installments on my story The Seeker, and I am on my way to make the third. But, to make that happen, I need your help!
The Seeker is a story about Halloween and the mysterious events brought to life by a girl and her pumpkin head. What happens when you lift the veil between the ghost world and the day-to-day world? We will find out in part three!
**This book is for ages 12 and up, since it does have some curse words and some potentially scary material.**
So, the funding for this will be primarily for printing. As with the last two chapters, I hand print the covers myself and get the story printed elsewhere. I have also completely run out of copies of part one of the Seeker, so I need funds to get those reprinted.
If you are kind enough to give me some of your hard earned money, you will be rewarded by not only my eternal thanks and tears of joy, but with copies of the comic, original drawings, and other surprise goodies.
If I don't reach my entire goal, it's not the end of the world, because every bit helps. I recently moved across the country and times are tough, monetarily. So I'll print with whatever I have, maybe just not make as many copies.
If you've ever loved Halloween, dreams, ghosts, and mystery, you would love this comic. This is a comic for people who never stopped believing that there's more to the world than just what we see.
Parts one and two of The Seeker have received good reviews. They both debuted at Genghis Con in 2013 and 2014.
This is the first story I've pursued for more than one issue. It's important to me to see this through. With your help, you could make my dreams a reality.
My goal is to have Part three ready before October 31st, 2015, for the Short Run fest in Seattle. What better way to debut a comic book about spooky stuff than on Halloween?
At the moment, I'm working a part time job, which pays the bills and also gives me time to finish drawings and other projects. I know that I will have enough time to complete this by mid October.
If you can't contribute, I understand. I know what it's like to be interested in something but also broke. You can still help by sharing this with anyone who you think would be interested!
