web series pilot, “The Trainee” is wrapped and ready for post-production! And

“The Trainee" is a
Superhero action-comedy: while working at as a stock boy at The Comic Bug
(http://thecomicbug.com/) and struggling to make ends meet, Henry Howell trains
to become the newest sidekick of LA’s most powerful superhero (Shadow Knight!) to fulfill his
own dream of saving the day. Nothing will get in the way of his true
calling – well, unless you count his shrinking bank account, his mysterious
co-workers, and the villainous Madame Snowblood!

The Impact
“The Trainee” will foster some of
the best Latino talent in the film industry. My director, the AD, our
four leads (who are all Rio Grande Valley of Texas natives), the editor, and I
are all Latino, which makes me all the more excited and proud of the upcoming
shoot. So, your contribution would be a great step towards supporting
Latino filmmakers.
What
We Need & What You Get
We are currently reaching out to
out friends and supporters for assistance in completing the film. At this
time, we need to raise an additional $5000 for post-production costs and to recuperate
additional production costs. Our hope is
that you will consider making a gift that is meaningful to you – any gift at
all - to help “The Trainee” reach completion. If you can donate even $5 or up
at this time, we would be most appreciative, and as a BONUS, we're also
offering incentives for the levels of each gift you’re able to offer, such as
