The Vigilante is a short film featuring spectacular martial arts fights, motorcycle pursuits and shootout scenes, inspired by the elegance and style of Asian action cinema, all integrated with beautiful oriental-style hand-drawn waterpainted animated sequences. Discover the story of Kang Hyon-su, a seemingly ordinary man who finds himself alone in a violent clash against a criminal organization during the harsh times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

OUR TALENT, STUNTS & MAKE-UP
Yoon C. Joyce (Kundun, Gangs of New York, Nirvana, Mozzarella Stories) stars in the leading role, bringing emotion and depth to the complex character of Kang Hyon-su, while experienced action coordinator Simone Belli (Spaccapietre, State of Consciousness) and his team of stuntmen and stuntwomen provide all the relentless action you need. All the required make-up and special effects will be made by the talented hands of MonsterBox Studio, an independent reality based in Milan, Italy.

OUR MOODBOARD
The film will be shot with a RED Gemini 5K camera and Zeiss Prime cinelenses, plus all the professional lighting and audio equipment necessary to bring to life a world of crime, violence and vengeance. The aesthetics we chose for our film demand a great attention to details, from each and every costume to a complex set design, in order to create the best environments possible in which to tell our story.
