THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR CAMPAIGN A SUCCESS!
EMILY DIANA RUTH /Filmmaker
Emily is an emerging Canadian filmmaker who has a difficult time writing blurbs about herself. Last year she graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production and Screenwriting. While there, Emily focused on experimental filmmaking and cinematography. With this film, Emily hopes to incorporate her alternative aesthetic into a conventional narrative piece, as well as pay tribute to the Northern Canadiana she grew up with.
THE FILM
A young woman travels up to the old family cottage with her Father after several years of family-wide estrangement. Anticipating a friendly reunion with the cousins she grew up without, the girl faces a series of disappointments in it's place.

OUR GOAL
We have set our goal at $3000.00, which is the minimum needed to get us through principal photography. Any additional funds raised will be used to maximize the potential of the shoot, more equipment, slightly nicer food (although my Dad is cooking!). It will also help us more with post-production. With more funding we may be able to afford professional colour correcting, and will assist us with festival submission costs.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1) Donate Money. Make a financial contribution, and accept a perk as a thank-you!
2) Donate something else. We'll take anything! Food, coffee, equipment rentals, dixie cups, a song for the soundtrack, positive vibes, etc.
3) Share. Help us to spread this campaign and keep it active. Leave us a comment, tweet it, facebook it, e-mail it check back to see our progress!
4) Follow. Keep up with our journey through Twitter, Youtube, and Tumblr. There will be many other opportunities to make your impact on the film along the way!
