At Hard Crafts, we saw an opportunity to create a next-generation non-stick pan, implementing a new non-stick, non-scratch & water-based coating - carbon fusion. 

We designed our MELLO series pans with Carbon Fusion reinvented from PEEK Technology (polyether ether ketone) as its core material, which is probably one of the most durable non-stick coatings ever invented, and the world's first water-based non-stick coating reinforced by carbon fiber. PEEK Technology is typically used in the manufacturing of medical tools, devices, implants, with this breakthrough in kitchenware design, we've developed a pan that is safer, more durable, and most of all, more "non-stick."

A pan is the one cooking utensil that really gets put through the wringer. One of our main goals when designing this pan was that it should be able to last, even if put through the most intense conditions, and of course, be made from non-toxic materials.

Through using 30,000°F super-heated plasma technology to fuse the Carbon Fusion coating to the surface of the pans, you get an extremely hard surface that interlocks with our premium coating for a superior bond. Hard Crafts pans are extremely strong and super durable.

For regular non-stick pans, due to cost considerations,  there's only one side covered with the non-stick coating. But at Hard Crafts, our MELLO series pans are coated in this compound, wrapped around its entirety for an effortlessly polished finish, and easily cleaned every time.

We love non-stick pans for daily use, but sooner more often than later they gradually lack their most important function —— the "non-stick"  loses the "non." They scratch easily and start flaking off into your food, and when the coating wears off there’s no going back.

Cast iron and stainless steel pans can absorb quite a bit of oil while cooking, making them difficult to clean when food gets stuck to the bottom. The slippery surface of non-stick pans makes it easier to clean and maintain over time.
