THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO OUR CAMPAIGN. PLEASE KEEP UP TO DATE WITH US AT THREESOMETHEPLAY.CO.UK
Dear Friends and Supporters.
Threesome is a risqué new comedy drama premiering at the Camden Fringe Festival in August. Based on real life personal accounts, this one act play looks at sexuality and sexual behaviour in modern society, exploring issues around homosexuality, and having the confidence to be who you really are. Jenny, Paul and Rob return from an evening out. As the drink flows their conversation turns more intimate and soon a game of ‘I Never’ leads all three to the bedroom. Is it really just a harmless bit of experimentation, or does somebody have an ulterior motive?
Please take a look at the video above which explains more about our play and why we need your support.
Thanks for finding our page here on Indiegogo. 2012 has already been a busy year for us. Lisa has just finished the final year of her BA Hons in Theatre Arts at Middlesex University as well as acting in and writing her first short film, Sweetheart, and Paul has been busy directing the sell out plays Titus Andronicus (in France) and The Bear (in Russia) as well as gaining The Fringeguru.co.uk Editor's Choice and garnering 4 other major Fringe Festival award nominations for his play In My Shoes.
Our dates during the Camden Fringe (http://camdenfringe.com/details.php?acts_id=75) will be 24-26 August. We have set tickets at £7.50 which is the average price for plays at the Etcetera Theatre.
What We Need & What You Get
Our dates at the Etcetera Theatre are already booked and we are majority funded for the actual production. What we do require financial help with is being able to afford a rehearsal space for us to rehearse with the cast so that our performances can be the best we can do.
Other costs we hope to cover from this campaign will be some of the transportation costs, as well as cover expenses towards publicity and raising awareness of the show in order to help us make each show a sell out event.
We are looking to raise about $3500 however we have worked out that $1800 would be a minimum we hope to cover certain unrecoupable costs (see below).
Update (5 July 2012) - We hit out $1800 target and so we are now set on raising $3500. So please do continue to donate. [

Remember you can donate any amount you want. The suggested donations to the right are the minimum required to order the perks listed.
The breakdown of the campaign is as follows:
- Rehearsal Space....................................... $950
- Flier and Poster Design and Printing............. $325
- Program Design and Printing...................... $250
- Postage (sending fliers out to mailing list).... $100
- Stationary.................................................. $ 75
- Transport Expenses.................................... $100
Any funds contributed that take us beyond the campaign target will go towards other costs associated with putting on this production such as transportation expenses for cast and crew during the production and rehearsal runs and improving production value such as props and set dressing. Any funds beyond our $3500 goal would go toward the costs of the eventual second run of Threesome. Any funds raised below our goal will go to the most important areas such as rehearsal space rental and then fliers and posters.
You can also upgrade an existing perk at any time within the campaign so please make sure you are subscribe to our Announcements for updates to this page.
The Future for 'Threesome'
Our intention is to be able to take this new play to other venues in the near future. Your help in making this run at the Etcetera successful will go a long way to helping us secure a second venue and a longer run, which we hope we can stage in early 2013.
Other Ways You Can Help
