Campaign Overview
We regard ourselves as a film making collective in a society which is emerging from one of the most difficult conflict situations that has been in Europe in the last thirty years. That was the subject of our first film – Spiral, which is doing the rounds in festivals in Europe at the moment.
Now we're moving on, though still influenced by our Northern Irish background.
When we started out some years ago, film making was a minority sport in Northern Ireland. But now we are part of an increasingly vibrant film making industry driven by the proven ability of local acting and production talent to produce world leading serial television such as Game of Thrones.
The Uniqueness of our Perks
In the spirit of a true collective, we are offering you - dear prospective donor! - an unprecedented level of creative involvement with our film.
There are NO campaigns that we know of INDIEGOGO that would offer the chance to get involved creatively in the project, with the potential benefit to your own creative journey that we are offering on Tigermilk.
We hope this will attract other artists. But of course, you don't have to have this level of involvement if you just want to get this film made. Everything is optional.
Story Pitch
Dennis doesn't feel right, doesn't feel right about anything really. I mean who does. But he's got a problem, at least one we know of, and the problem is taking over everything. The boy knows the cure is to leave the family house, to make the break from Mum, become something else, before the problem takes him over, wrecks him.
Maggie is a superb Mum, the craic, an extremely intelligent and fiesty lady. She's the kind of Mum you wish you had. Then again, she doesn't cook, she's lonely, haunted, possessing a wit that'd cut through skin. She's the kind of Mum that could be a monster spider, a seedy vampire, a wrecking ball.
Everyone knows the difference. Everyone knows when it's time to go. Mostly. We just don't like admitting it. And change is hard. Sometimes the hardest thing entirely. It's gonna hurt, Dennis leaving. Means Maggie is gonna face her horrible demonic worst self, and then ... be reborn.
What money is need for
If we were costing Tigermilk at full professional rates, it would cost around £12,000, which is a clear indication of how much all of us believe in this film.
Here's the breakdown for the money:
Actors - 100%
----
The team
Paul Hamilton - Writer / Director
![]()
Paul's a former freelance broadcast journalist with the BBC who never let go of childhood aspirations to be a writer. He's made eight short films and been in film festivals in Ireland and the UK. He's developed animated television series, serial drama, and three feature film scripts. Safe to say his experience touches many bases in the industry. To keep afloat in the small creative world of Northern Ireland Paul became a lecturer in a vocational regional College. His students work at all stops on the spectrum, from independent to big budget features and high end serial television: from BAFTA winners to humble runners, they've all been through the mix of Staff Sergeant, Creative Motivator and Teenage Counsellor that probably characterises his 'teaching' style.

He counts Jack Cardiff, Gordon Willis John T. Davis as his inspirations for picking up a camera.
