Support my next Single and Album
The purpose of this campaign is to fund the release of my next single and to finish producing my next album. I've been very fortunate with my music so far, considering it's all been done in a DIY kind of way with a close knit group of helpers. A lot of it looks like there's influence and money behind it. There isn't. There are great talented friends, believers and a whole lotta love. For that, I am truly blessed. Now I would like to reach more people with my music, and that is why this campaign is so important to me, and to the loyal band of fans and colleagues who have stuck by me through thick and thin.
What We Need and What You Get
I have written and recorded a single
for the new movie ‘Blood Orange’ starring Iggy Pop.
The song is called 'Money Kills Love' (a title
taken from the screenplay). We've also made a video and we are releasing the song and the video on 3rd June 2016. I've done pretty well so far without any marketing at all for my music, but I think it's the right time to give my music the same opportunity other artists have who DO have promotional support, and I need some help from you to make that happen!
Our first goal is to raise £4,000 - which would cover
everything we would ideally like to do that will be involved with releasing “Money Kills Love”, including Marketing
& PR budget to sufficiently promote the single and the video. This would also help pave the way for my next album.
The breakdown of these costs is:
- Single Marketing & PR (25%) - £1000
- Single Radio and TV Promotion (50%) - £1500
- Album Mastering (12.5%) - £500
- Artwork, Design & Video expenses (12.5%) - £500
- Campaign support team (5.5%) - £220
- Indiegogo (5%) & Paypal fees (2%) - £280
If you would like to take part and help turn this
dream into a reality, you can make a contribution to the campaign by choosing
one of the special edition perks - see right hand column of this
Indiegogo webpage. Any contribution would be a huge help!
The Impact
Making new music popular is not an exact science and you never know what will happen when you release a song. Over the last few years, I've released songs that have done pretty well, and that was without any marketing at all.
- Being able to promote this song could lead to more opportunites for my music.
- Everything else I've released without promotion has always been received well by everyone I have managed to reach.
Other Ways You Can Help
If donating money isn’t an option at this time, that's
ok. Simply sharing this webpage with your friends in an email, or on facebook
and other social media sites would be wonderful.
Thank you so much for taking part, I am grateful and extremely hopeful for this opportunity.
Love and light,
Tim x
