The game objective is to be the one at the end of the game who has earned the most stars. The game ends when all 50 stars have been won. When you play less than 4 players or you want to play a shorter games, use less stars.
There are two ways to get stars:
-
By destroying an enemy unit
-
By stealing stars to other players
Setup
At the beginning of the game each player must have an army card on which he will put (during the game) his combat units. Each player draws three cards from the deck of cards and keeps them hidden from other players.
The game is played in the clockwise direction. To determine playing order, each player rolls a dice. The player with the highest dice roll will be the first to play.
On a turn...
During his turn a player must respect the following playing order:
-
Draw one to three cards from the deck. At the end of this turn the player must have 3 cards in his hand. So if a player already has one card in his possession he must draw 2 cards to have a total of 3.
-
Recruitment : add (if possible) 1 to 2 units on the army card
-
Playing an action card (Missile or Spy)
-
Attack an enemy unit (only 1 attack per turn)
-
Discard 1 card (unless the player has no more cards in his hand)
Recruitment
To recruit a unit in his army, just place the card of this unit on a free space of the army card.
A player cannot stack soldiers on each other. So there should be only one unit per space. See exception*.
In addition, once a unit is recruited, it can't be moved or switched to another space.
The recruitment phase is not mandatory. A player can decide to not recruit any unit and wait for the next turn.
Of course a player cannot recruit if the player has no units in his hand.
*During his recruitment a reserve soldier must absolutely be placed under another soldier already on the army card. So he cannot be placed on an empty space. When the soldier placed on top will be killed, the reserve soldier will automatically take his place and make a counter attack (see attack rules).
Attack rules
The attacking player must choose the unit that will attack and the enemy unit that will be attacked.
Then, the attacker rolls a dice.
If the score is equal or higher to the defense number, the player destroy the enemy unit and earns the number of star(s) indicated in the upper left corner of the destroyed unit. The destroyed unit is placed at the bottom of the deck. The attack ends.
If the attack score is lower than the defense number, the enemy unit is not destroyed and makes a counter attack. Then, the unit rolls the dice. If the score is equal or higher to the defense number of the unit that had previously attacked, it destroys this unit and wins the number of star(s) indicated in the upper left corner of the destroyed unit. The destroyed unit is placed at the bottom of the deck . If the counter attack score is lower than the defense number, the attack turn ends.
Particular case (reserve soldier)
In the event that an unit is destroyed but has under it a reserve soldier, the reserve soldier reply immediately with a counter attack.
The reserve soldiers, the regular soldiers and the gunners cannot attack enemy unit(s) in the 2nd line if there are still enemy unit(s) in the 1st line.

Risks & Challenges
The game is ready and I just need 500$ to start the production.
Why only 500$? Because I have an agreement with my regular printer who is ready to produce in small quantities if necessary.
Also as a graphic designer since 1998, I have a lot of experience in the printing industry.
If you have any question on this topic (or another one), don't hesitate to contact me.
