This project was first lunched on Kickstarter and successfully funded. The creators would like to take this opportunity to introduce Ti bottles to Indiegogo users and let them benefit from the reduced price before Ti bottles officially enter the international markets.
Why Ti Bottles?
Titanium is a safe material. It is the only metal that has no effect on human autonomic and taste nerves. It is recognized as a non-toxic and non-allergenic element and has good compatibility with the human body. It is used in human implant fields, such as artificial bones, cardiac membrane stents, porcelain teeth, etc., and does not cause rejection! In fact, because titanium is non-reactive with the human body, surgeons use it frequently.
Titanium will neither smell bad nor affect the taste of your drink as algae and bacteria cannot grow on its surface. This will ensure the cleanliness and overall health of your drink. It is as strong as steel, but as light as aluminum. Titanium is completely biocompatible with no leaching or corroding to worry about. It will never rust.
We worked on the fabrication of affordable titanium bottles with excellent quality. We call our products Ti Bottles. While they are strong, well-designed, and durable, their price is almost half that of the titanium mugs available in the market.
This project was funded on Kickstarter and we have already started manufacturing to make sure Ti bottles will be delivered to our backers by the end of March. We are using Indiegogo platform to introduce Ti bottles to a larger group of audiences. If you are thinking to have Ti bottles at some point, now is the time. Get them at our reduced price as after this campaign, Ti bottles will only be found at at its retail price.

What motivated us?
We wanted something to keep our drinks at desired temperatures for a long time without changing their taste. Afterall, we are all coffee lovers, yet we couldn’t find a single bottle/mug that loves our coffee as much as we do. So what did we do? We created one!

The trouble with plastic
Plastic bottles are not suitable for hot drinks. They are also neither environmentally friendly nor able to keep the drink temperature at a constant level with respect to time. Currently, more than a million bottles are being added to landfills around the world every minute. That is over 500 billion annually! That’s enough to wrap around the earth’s equator more than twice and the existing reusable bottles have failed to limit the use of plastic bottles.

The issue with stainless steel
The metallic taste you might encounter while using a stainless steel bottle/mug might be metal leaching to your drink or, even more terrifying, it could come from either algae or bacteria, which is far from good for your health.
The problem with ceramic
Ceramic bottles are relatively heavy, expensive, fragile, and cannot maintain temperature for long periods of time.
![]()
We were looking for a non-toxic material that could maintain drink temperature at a desired level, like steel vacuumed mugs, be light like plastic, and be inert to the taste of the drink like ceramic. We wanted all this plus affordability and durability. We believe we’ve achieved this in Ti Bottles.

Titanium can deliver all the positive characteristics we were looking for in traditional bottles at once. However, the titanium-based bottles/mugs in the market are quite pricey as the metal itself can be very expensive. Titanium could also be hard to process for shaping it in the form of an object.
We worked to make titanium bottles affordable.

Differences between plastic, stainless-steel and ceramic bottles
Over time, plastic absorbs odours and flavours.
Stainless steel does not absorb flavours, but it sometimes imparts off-flavours into the drink. Whether this happens because of poor construction (e.g. finishes that leach into beverages) or is due to a reaction between one of coffee’s 1,000-plus compounds and the metal is not always clear. Germs can be easily absorbed to stainless steel surfaces and if not properly cleaned, your bottles can harbor colonies of bacteria that would cause different diseases.
In terms of flavour, ceramic is the best choice. It neither absorbs nor imparts flavours, leaves the coffee or tea to taste just as it should. But it is not as efficient as stainless steel in preserving heat for a long period of time, it is fragile, heavy and expensive.
Ti Bottles Specifications
We offer two versions of Ti Bottles:
1- Single wall Ti bottle (Ti-S350)
2- Double-walled Ti bottle (Ti-D340 and Ti-D410)
While the first is fabricated by using a single layer of titanium and gives you the opportunity to safely store your drink indoors or outdoors, the second features vacuum insulation and double titanium wall construction, which gives our bottles the unparalleled ability of heat and cold preservation.
They both look great, are made of sustainable material, are BPA free, and 100% leak proof.
Ti-S350
The single wall Ti bottle comes in a singular size (350 mL) and grey colour. It features a plastic bite valve cap that offers quiet, no whistle, one-handed hydration and is ideal for high-performance situations where you only have one free hand. The cap is made of food-grade PP without BPA.
The single wall Ti bottle is an excellent choice for camping as you can safely put the bottle on the camp fire.

The double-walled Ti bottle comes in two models with different sizes and caps in grey colour. They can maintain the temperature of your drinks for more than 8 hours.
Ti-D340
If you are looking for a full titanium (body and cap) bottle, go with the smaller size (340 mL), Ti-D340. It features a durable wide-mouth titanium cap for twist opening and easy on-the-go sipping.

Status of Ti Bottles
R&D is done, the design is complete, prototypes are available, and the project is already funded on Kickstarter. We will be using the fund raised through Kickstarter for running the mass production line for a more affordable product.
We are in the process of purchasing the raw materials, some tools and molds to start the mass production. Production for the orders we receive through Indiegogo will take place in March 2021. As the production process will be in progress, we will start the packaging and shipment of the bottles to the backers and they can have their Ti bottles by the end of April 2021.

Risks and challenges
We established Fit for Future Inc. in December 2018 to gather a group of people with different educational backgrounds and many years of experience in research and development, engineering, operation, and marketing. From the first day of its existence, the company was active in the area of design and engineering to come up with innovative ideas. Ti bottles are our first products.
R&D, design, and prototyping are done, we have already collected the money required for mass production through our campaign on Kickstarter and we have completed the necessary negotiations with different parties for manufacturing and delivery. We finalized the contracts for purchasing raw materials, equipment, and tools and the manufacturing process is about to start.
We believe that within a month from the day that our campaign is over, we will be able to finish manufacturing and packaging and have the orders ready for shipment. Once we are in the production phase, we will start delivery on a first come first serve basis depending on when the backers placed their orders.
However, there might be additional risks related to COVID-19 situation in different areas of the world that might affect the delivery process, but if everything goes smoothly, as it currently is, there should not be any delay in enjoying your drink with Ti bottles. We at Fit for Future Inc. promise to do our best to minimize any potential delays.
Long-lasting design
In terms of material, titanium is used to fabricate the Ti bottles. Different from the other materials traditionally used for mugs and bottles such as plastic, steel, and ceramic, titanium is for durability. The Ti bottles are acid resistant, never rust and break. They are with you unless you get tired of them. It has taken more than one year of research and effort to design Ti bottles in its current shape.
Reusability and recyclability
All of the materials used for making the Ti bottles and their packaging are recyclable.
Sustainable materials
Pure titanium is used to make the Ti bottles. Titanium does not rust and never deteriorates. Titanium is easy to recycle and eco-friendly and therefore a sustainable material.
