Short Summary

Hi everyone! I'm Brandie Louck. I'm an Austin based actor, screenwriter and producer. 

'Toby' is a short film that I wrote and am producing.  It's based on my personal experience of helping care for my mother during her battle with cancer, and my battle with my mom's tiny overprotective dog, Toby. 

It's a very personal story and making sure it's looks and sounds as good as possible is very important to me. I want to do right by the memory of my mom and Toby, so any and all support is very appreciated!

Meet Our Director!

Olivia is a producer, director, screenwriter, actor, and owner of Fox Adrift Productions based in Austin, TX. She attended Texas State University graduating with an undergraduate degree in Business Management and International Business, with a goal to follow her pursuit into the film industry. Her mission is to bring to life stories that relate to the human condition, while allowing us to escape into a world of beauty. Olivia has directing multiple short films and her first feature film, Hi., will be released soon!

What We Need & What You Get

Your contributions will go to helping cover the filming and post production costs. These costs include things like paying the crew, providing catering, professional film animal costs and post production costs including editing, sound design and color correction.  

Some of the perks include getting a link of the final product, receiving tickets to a screening of the film and even associate and executive producer credits on the film (get listed on IMDB!)

The Impact

This film is a way to show people going through loss that they aren't alone in that struggle. We all deal with illness, grief and loss in our own ways.  Also, it reminds us that our pets are true members of our families and would defend us fiercely if given the opportunity.  

Risks & Challenges

• Filming and post production costs add up VERY quickly. While I'm committed to making this film no matter what, I know with a little support, we could ensure that 'Toby' will be as good as possible. Without enough funding, I may have to delay post production and I really want to get this out as quick as possible.
