Who are we?
We are six musicians from Denver and Boulder, CO. Music has always brought us together and created a space where we can inspire one another and our audiences, and where we can learn to be supportive members of our community.
With our new album, Bird Flew, we want to broaden that community by getting our album pressed on vinyl and distributed outside of Colorado and by touring to different cities across the country. Your donation and support is instrumental in keeping Denver’s vibrant musical community alive and helping us to spread our unique energy to new people and places.
What We Need & What You Get
We’ve set our goal at $2000. We will need to spend $1100 dollars on pressing 100 copies of the record and roughly $400 buying the sleeves and sleeve printing supplies. With the remaining funds that we raise, we will be paying the artist who made the artwork for the album and traveling out of state this summer at every opportunity we get to bring audiences the avant-garde experience that our live shows provide.
Donors get a one-of-a- kind experience, too! Perks include vinyl, t-shirts and one-of-a-kind photographs. Donors in our top tier will receive a one-of-a-kind cassette tape of improvised music.
Risks & Challenges
The obstacle that stands between us and pressing our music onto a timeless vinyl record is money. If our campaign falls short, we will have to raise money by playing local shows, and though we have done this many times before, our experience shows that it will take a much longer time to raise money this way. If we do not make our goal, we may have to pay out-of-pocket to print the record.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you don't have funds to contribute to our campaign, we understand. However, you can help us by sharing our campaign on social media.
Thank you in advance for all your support.
