Performing at the Edinburgh fringe festival has always been a dream of mine, and things came together this year to provide that opportunity.
People talked me up to several theater owners, and I managed to get a decent theater at a pretty good rate. I look forward to doing the shows, and believe my comedy and my choice of variety acts will do pretty well, and I have been receiving a lot of encouragement. Performing, and running the show I can handle. However, as a performer who runs a show here in California that is not profit oriented, I am amazed by how much it will cost to produce this show in Edinburgh, not including airfare, lodging, and promotion (there are 2300 shows!).
That is why, for the first time, I am using this necessary form of fund raising. I was never keen on asking others for money this way, but I understand it now. Basically, creative people do not always have the money to do what they love.
For those who don't know me, I am now going to talk about myself in the third person: Ron Lynch has been producing and hosting the show called, "Tomorrow!" for over nine years now, and is excited to finally (with your help) take it on the road to Edinburgh!
Ron Lynch has been doing comedy for over 30 years. He has appeared on many television programs including: Conan, Happy Endings, and The Sarah Silverman Program (he played all the doctors!). Recent movies include "Smashed", and has appeared in many short films including a few directed by Louie C. K. Ron is known for his voice-over work, which includes the animations: Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, American Dad, Adventure Time, and as "Mr. Lynch" on the cult classic, Home Movies.

With your contribution, I will be able to go to Scotland and do what I do. Otherwise, I may have to forfeit my entrance fee, and theater booking fee, and keep dreaming.

The Impact
What impact does comedy have on the world? Can a bunch of different acts come together on one show to make it one of the most interesting shows to ever happen at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival? Will I do the best stuff I've done in years? Will your money be the magic wand to make this happen? Have you thought, "Can I stop reading this if I just donate money right away?"
The answer is yes.

And that’s all there is to it.
And I thank you for your time.
