TRESE is written by Budjette Tan and illustrated by Kajo Baldisimo. This comic book is our love letter to Philippine mythology, the city of Manila and all the supernatural stories we heard growing up a metropolis where people embrace new technology along with old beliefs and magical practices.

Since 2005, TRESE has been published and distributed in the Philippines. While we feel lucky and thankful for all the readers who’ve picked up our books, we’ve always dreamed for TRESE to reach more readers in foreign shores.

With your help, we target to have the funds to print a new edition of TRESE Issue 1 (with updated art and bonus content), and be able to ship it to readers around the world. The funds we generate will also allow Kajo to devote more time to illustrating the pages.

For this Indiegogo campaign, we will release TRESE Occult Case #1, “At the Intersection of Balete Drive and 13th Street”. This 32-page comic book will have updated artwork by Kajo and comes with bonus pages, featuring journal entries that explain all the creatures that appear in the story.
