Short Summary
Nash Snyder is a 4th year film student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, in the process of making his capstone film! Nash has spent the last 4 years honing his craft as both a director and cinematographer, and is applying those skills to this film.
This film is being made for his brother and best friend, Jake, who was born with that extra chromosome that changes how his body and brain develops. Having Down Syndrome doesn’t mean that Jake should be pitied, or that he has some disease. Jake represents what everyone should strive to be- not what they should feel sorry for.
This film is also being made in memory of Danny Mayer: the father figure who stepped in, a local rock legend in Rochester, and the man who taught Nash that the most important thing someone could be is kind. He judged people solely on how they treated others… and of course, their music taste.
Film Logline

By donating to this film, you are creating more visibility and representation for Down Syndrome, as well as supporting independent filmmakers and craftspeople make meaningful art.
If you donate $15 — you get Behind-The-Scenes and Graphic Package Content!
The BTS/Graphics package will include exclusive content from behind the scenes of the film, shining a light on the talented performers and crew members that bring this world to life. It will also include
If you donate $25 — you get Digital Early Access!
Why does Early Access matter? Well, films take a long time to make, but they take even longer to be available to the public. When applying to film festivals and other platforms, films have to be kept private until the festival circuit is complete. By donating more, you're able to see exactly what your contributions helped to build far sooner than waiting for festival runs to be complete- which could take several years.
If you donate $40 — you get Tickets to a Private Screening!
How is this different than Early Access? Well, this is a private event hosted in Rochester, NY featuring the filmmakers with food, drinks and other entertainment- an all around good time! This is an in-person event- not digital like the previous perk. Think of it like an exclusive party, rather than an ordinary film screening.
If you donate $65 — you get All Of The Above!
If you’re interested in all of the perks, I have good news! This final combination allows you all of the above for a more affordable rate than purchasing each separately!
