Our Film

Twisted is a short horror/thriller about love, obsession and control.

Our Story

We are The Raw Talent Company and we are based in Edinburgh, Scotland.  

This is our third short film under our creative division 'Raw Talent Productions'.  

Our first, 'Executive Killing' is currently on the festival circuit in the UK and our second, 'Temporary Help' (an experimental film) is in post-production in New York and will be entered into BAFTA's New Talent (Director) category next year.

Our company director, Helen Raw, read 'Twisted, A Short Story' about 2 years ago after realising that one of her friends was a closet writer.  Being a horror and thriller fan, Helen loved it and said 

True to her word, that day is here. 

However, we are pretty much out of 'work for free' favour tokens so Indiegogo, here we are...

The Impact

Will our film save lives?  Nope.  

Will it make the world a better place?  Highly unlikely.  

Will it give actors and crew a few days work?  Yep.

Will it be a great wee horror thriller that will twist on you when you least expect it?  You betcha!

What We Need & What You Get

What do we need?  Hmmmmm, in a nutshell, we need cash!  

What will we do with the aforementioned cash?  Well, contrary to popular belief, us Scots are very thrifty and we hope to be able to stretch our tiny budget for miles and miles. We have the equipment already so, essentially, we want to make sure our brilliant crew and fabulous actors are paid for their talents.  We want to make sure that we can feed them and keep them warm on the shoot and ensure our editor has an endless supply of biscuits for the post-production process.  We also want to make sure we have enough money to bombard all the horror and thriller film festivals with our little gem.  We would love to provide our actors with gold plated scripts too but that has not been written into the budget.  We also want to be able to pay the writers in more than Creme Eggs and Walnut Whips!  Even if we make our Indiegogo target, our producer/director, unfortunately, will still have to be paid in haggis balls and beer!

If we don't reach our total target, once we have finished crying, we will still make the film but it might take us until the end of time and we might have to use stick figures and hand puppets instead of real live people…ach well!
