The Tyree Elaine Show & Purpose
My name is Tyree Elaine, and I truly believe that my purpose is to help others through my humor. I’ve been a stand-up comedian since 2008, but my fan base really grew this past spring when I released a few social media videos about women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. These videos capture the humor of how many women act when they get close to or just past a big birthday. "Women Over 40 Be Like" and "Women Turning 30 Be Like" are the most popular sketches, and went viral in under 4 days. I often read comments from my posts, and the majority express great thanks for my humor, and inspiration. I am truly touched that my jokes are entertaining as well as encouraging.
Walk The Light, LLC
The production company I’ve launched to develop my new content is called Walk the Light. That name came from the fact that I often have to remind myself to just take small steps in my purpose when I’m confused, lost, or in the dark, because things will turn out okay if I’m walking in my purpose (or walking "the light.") It’s a constant reminder to trust God, and the gifts He put inside of me.
Words can't describe how it feels to inspire people through humor. That feeling is so overwhelming that I quit my job to pursue my comedic purpose full time in hopes of inciting laughter and uplifting large audiences.

Goals
To help me on my journey, I’ve enlisted the expertise of a small, yet experienced production company to help me with the ends and outs of casting, shooting, and editing. Outside of compensating them, I will also be using the funds donated to pay for equipment, location fees, props, actors, and post-production.
My plan is to shoot a minimum of 7 sketches, and package them together to create a full length episode. My prayer is that the show gets picked up and produced for a full season. In the event that I do not reach my entire goal, I will produce as many sketches as funds allow.
