What is uFusion?

uFusion is an easy configurable 9DoF AHRS system that mix data coming from 3 axes accelerometer, 3 axes gyroscope, 3 axes magnetometer to extract Attitude and Heading References. It’s studied to simplify the integration in your project.  In fact, uFusion can be soldered on your own PCB or can be used through its motherboard.

uFusion data output can be read with 2 type of standard communication: UART or SPI. Additionally, the motherboard allow to read data using the USB 2.0 standard.

How to use uFusion?

uFusion can be used in a really easy way.

uFusion can be soldered on your PCB or used alone with its motherboard. It can be interfaced through UART, SPI or USB and can be communicate through many I/O register that allow you to set it and get the output values.

As soon as possible, we’ll publicate the driver for Linux/Android and Arduino and they will be downloadable for free. These will help to communicate with uFusion so that you can focus on other part of your project without stressing trying to make uFusion working.

What can be done with uFusion?

uFusion can be used in many different applications. Wherever you need to know how an object is tilted or oriented in the space, uFusion can solve your issue. Just think and make.

Status of the project

Research: done! We have already spent a lot of time (day and night) doing research about the state of the art, designing solutions and experimenting.

Prototyping: done! As you can see in the videos and in the pictures, we produced many prototypes before we have found the one with the best performance.

Testing: done and doing. We have performed many test on the system. We have stressed it a lot in different conditions. We can not permit that it stops working in the real system.

Pre-production: completed. We have chosen the best component on the market, designed the PCB and arrange with a factory for the production.

How can you help us?

Prototypes of uFusion have been tested for more than 6 months and have demonstrated good performances and good reliability. We are very proud of our product and we think that it is ready to be produced and commercialized. We have some quote from several electronic board manufacturers and we’re ready for the first big order. Unfortunately, electronics board are expensive to manufacture, so we need your help to order the first big quantity.
