We will hold the UNAA Final Championships at Santa Ana Star Center on August 6, 2016 , located in a suburb of Albuquerque called Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  There you will find one of the top Venues around that hold over 7,000 people.  There is not a bad seat in the house and we hope to fill the venue with screaming fans rooting for their favorite Ninja Athlete to become the first Ultimate Ninja Athlete.

All 30 gyms across the country will qualify hundreds of athletes to narrow down to the Top 120 UNAA Athletes to move on to the Final Championships. We have both a men’s and women’s class and will award the Top 5 finalist in each class, totaling $27,000 in cash awards.

With the huge popularity of Ninja Gyms popping up all across the country we wanted to be sure to have a place for these athletes to put their training to use in our Area and Regional Qualifiers.  Anyone can join the UNAA and compete in the Area Qualifiers for a chance to move on to the Regionals and ultimately to the Finals.

Unfortunately, being our first year, it is difficult to rent such a large venue and also to build the massive Ninja Obstacle course for our Final Championships.  Please Help us to raise the money needed to bring the qualifying athletes to the Santa Ana Star Center on one of the toughest obstacle courses ever built and to compete in front of thousands of fans that will be cheering them on.

So why did we start UNAA?  Well,  we started it based upon the TV show American Ninja Warrior.  We all love competing and many of us submitted our videos to be on the show.  Unfortunately many of us did not get picked.  We later found out that over 50,000 videos were submitted and only 700 get picked to be on the show.  So that left 49,000 plus athletes that had been training and preparing with no place to compete.  Many gyms across the country were having local competitions,  but we wanted to have a big National qualifying series competition with a  large payout.

So ,  this is where We come in.  Who are we?  Charlie Mitchell is the COO and Head Official.  He is passionate about the sport and is the manager at our local gym in Albuquerque called Ninja Park.  He has a military and fitness background.   My name is Bob Clark, the CEO and Director and I come from a background in sales and business ownership.  I currently work at a local TV station here in Albuquerque and I also own a Motocross track called Sandia MX.  I have been in the promoting business for over 20 years and  between Charlie and myself we have conducted over 200 events from Motocross and Mud Bogs to Concerts and 5K Mud Runs to Ninja Warrior obstacle course events.

We still love the show American Ninja Warrior and because of the show ,  it allows us the opportunity to open up the UNAA for all those athletes that not only did NOT make the show,  but also for those that are on the show and want another option in competition to win some big money for all their hard work and training.  We are starting this first year with $27,000 total payout for Men and Women classes through Top 5.  Our ultimate goal and dream would be to one day provide enough revenue to the Top 10 athletes ,  that they could actually make a living doing what they are so passionate about.
