Hello, My Name is Samuel
I am a game designer who has been designing a board game called Void: Planets Unbound for about 5 years now. Even as a kid, I would always be inventing and imagining board and card games to play with my friends and parents. I have been spending the majority of my adulthood creating a game experience that I have always felt was missing from the market. However, along with the freedom of adulthood came the responsibilities, meaning that I have had to place my passion on the back burner.
Then, I had an idea! Why don't I just give away my artwork online for donations in the form of unique trading cards? It's perfect! I can do what I love everyday and make more board games.
That's where you come in.
What You Get
I am attempting to raise $500 to pay for prototyping costs for my board game. Whenever you donate you will be helping me come closer to finally releasing my game!
You can choose from the following: Single Card Pack for $5 donations, Triple Card Pack for $12 donations, or the Five Card Pack for $20 donations.
Each pack of cards will include a number of unique hand drawn trading cards, depicting scenes as far away as distant planets to landscapes in medieval kingdoms. Some cards will belong to sets, allowing you to trade with other unique trading card enthusiasts to complete the sets and add some extra value to your collection. With every card hand drawn, you can always be sure that you will be discovering something new with each one.
Please note: All cards are blank on the back signed and dated. However, if you would like me to inscribe a custom message, please let me know.
Thank you for your interest. By donating you are allowing me to do what I love everyday and getting me much closer to releasing my first board game.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you don't have money now, don't worry! You can still help by sharing this page with anybody who might be interested. I am so grateful to everyone for their time and donations! Thank you for allowing me to live my dream. It is all thanks to you.
Sincerely,
Samuel Zomerhuis
