Overview
Drawing from contemporary queer and feminist theory, Unrestrooms is an exhibition recent architectural proposals that address the public restroom as a gendered public space. The exhibition features new works by emerging designers addressing the public restroom as a site of political resistance by queer, trans, gender non-conforming, and gendered publics. The show opens Friday March 2, 2018 at Front/Space, 217 W. 18th St. Kansas City, MO 64108.

Your contribution will support a site-specific installation by Bad Little Brother design collective, the exhibition curators. This installation will be a 1-to-1 recreation of a public restroom, rendered in sparkly, festive tinsel curtains!
