Director's Statement
"Unseen Captivity" is a deeply intimate tale that reflects my fascination with the hidden aspects of domestic life and the profound impact of confronting the unseen horrors within. Growing up, I was always intrigued by the secrets families keep and the stories that unfold behind closed doors. This film is a manifestation of that curiosity, set against the backdrop of an ordinary suburban home that harbors extraordinary secrets.
Diana and Lucy's journey is one of uncovering and confronting the past, something that resonates with many of us. The story delves into the complexities of family dynamics and the lengths people go to protect their loved ones. Through this film, I aim to shed light on the profound effects of hidden traumas and the power of facing our deepest fears. "Unseen Captivity" offers a suspenseful journey into the shadows of domestic life, inviting the audience to question what lies beneath the surface of our everyday existence.
