Unstuck
When a stick mom car decal is stripped away from her decal family at the carwash, she must take on the perils, and pleasures, of live-action suburbia in a transformative journey to return to her one-dimensional world.
A Sticky Story Idea
Do you ever feel stuck? Like your trapped in a world of the same old same old? You may not even know you’re stuck until – WOOSH! – life happens and suddenly you’re in a crazy-different, messed up situation. That’s what happens to Stick Mom, a humble little car decal that gets stripped from her family and then stuck in the real world.
The film is all about her desperate journey to return to her decal husband and kids. And it’s a wild ride as she desperately chases them across suburbia. She hitches a ride on a speeding cop car, a peloton of bikes and a reckless skateboard. Of course, the real world isn’t without its eye-opening firsts, like Stick Mom’s first sip of alcohol and her first feelings of loneliness.
Will our resourceful and determined hero ever return to her life as a static cling? We won’t give away the ending, here, but let’s just say it’s probably not what you expect.
