What's happening?

The dating culture in New York City questions the place and presence of love. It is a common conversation around bars and coffee houses and there have been theatre performances reflecting on it. We're bringing a story to film on 3D (also available in 2D) that finds itself tangled in the complexities of this transition.

Why 3D?

The third dimension has come in as an innovation and change in cinema. It pops out of the screen and brings a whole new level of interaction with audiences. 3D of the Goddard and Gaspar Noe cinema is a strong inspiration for the film.

Synopsis

Valerie and Ian are friends, or are they in love? Ian has a girlfriend and it's not Eve. Eve is the VIP bartender at Ian's club and is in love with Valerie. Set in NYC, "Upstream" dives into the lives of three New Yorkers chasing something so similar. But what’s getting in their way?

Process

Our plan with the movie is something like this:

Collaborate with other industry professionals who are creative and technical. We want to play!

Finalise the ideal equipment and locations.

Film in January 2016

Distribute through both 3D and 2D Film Festivals around the world! Who knows we may find ourselves at Cannes or Oscars or both.
