Partners for Life Advancement and Education Promotion (PLAEP) is a Christian community-based development organization which operates in Kitwe, Zambia. We address poverty and HIV/AIDs through initiatives of economic empowerment, education, and peer education. In order to further our work throughout Kitwe and the Copperbelt Province, we need a multi-purpose vehicle! Transporting staff, community educators, supplies and tools, food for our feeding program, and building materials are daily needs that we face, without a PLAEP vehicle! Help us raise $10,000 USD to purchase a van or small bus so that we can continue to effectively serve the needy communities around us.

We support Musonda Community School, which educates over 600 orphans and vulnerable children in a low-income community, also providing them with lunch through our feeding program. We have a network of 90 community savings and loan groups, know as GROW groups, spread across the Copperbelt and Lusaka, with a membership of over 1,800. We have a number of other community outreach programs aimed at providing education, awareness, and prevention of HIV and AIDS.

Our Vision:
PLAEP envisions individuals and communities living enriched, abundant and longer lives and finding salvation in Jesus Christ.

Our Mission:
PLAEP exists to improve the health, educational, livelihood and social well-being of local communities in the Copperbelt province.

Our Goal:
To contribute to the improvement of the health, social and economic well-being of at least 10,000 vulnerable individuals in target communities in Kitwe and other elected Copperbelt districts through education, advocacy and economic empowerment.
