Volcano Highline at Burning Man

This project is being built by the Slackline Oasis crew.  We are a group of slackliners and highliners with the ambition to create a Highline between 2 Volcanos.  The Volcanos will be built out of Scaffolding, Guy-wires, and Burlap sacks from coffee bean bags.  We will be connecting the highline between the two volcanos to create Burning Mans First ever!

The intention is to provide a safe and spectacular interactive art that allows performers and amateurs alike to test their skills and face their fear on one of the most amazing balance tools, the Slackline!

What We Need & What You Get

We need funds to purchase the scaffolding and guywires and the rental truck to bring it all out to Black Rock City, Nevada.  So far we have aquired most of what we need, but the rental vehicle (Uhaul Cargo Van) as well as renting the scaffolding will cost us about $1000.  We have realized that we need the support of the crowds to make this happen and we are turning to you guys!

So far we have 1 Volcano done (scaffolding, guy wires, burlap) and we are trying to build the second one to make the highline work.
