Vytrus Hair is a hair lotion made from one of the company's Ingredients, Capilia Longa, winner of the worldwide award for best hair ingredient 2017 of the Global Beauty Industry Awards. Capilia is a cosmetic active made from Turmeric root stem cells, and it is basically a mix between plant growth factors and a nutritive cocktail for hair. VYTRUS BIOTECH was founded by Albert Jané and Òscar Expósito in 2009, as a spin-off company of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Barcelona. Since 2012 it has been part of the business group Inkemia IUCT, listed in the Alternative Equity Market – MaB. The company bases its business in plant biotechnology, specifically in plant cell cultures. With this pioneer technology it develops, produces and commercializes sustainable and highly added value products for the dermocosmetic and healthcare sectors. Right now, Vytrus has distribution agreements in more than 50 countries, and 6 own products on the market, all of them multi-actives made from plant stem cells from cotton, pomegranate, carrot, curcuma and centella, with applications that go from photoprotection, skin brightening, sensitive skin protection, hair growth or antiaging. We also have several products under development, and 3 patents. Ours products are thought from nature. ¿Qué es Vytrus Hair y para quién es?
Vytrus Hair es una loción para el cabello que detiene la caída del cabello y lo hace crecer otra vez. Está recomendado a mujeres y hombres, de 18 a 65 años, con algún tipo de problema de pérdida de cabello.
¿Funcionará en mi caso?
Esta pregunta es difícil de responder, debido a que cada caso es diferente, pero básicamente, la loción se ha probado con éxito en personas con problemas de alopecia androgenética, y alopecias por estrés y hormonales. Hay casos de alopecias relacionadas con el sistema inmune, como alopecia universal o areata, para los que este tratamiento no funciona. Lo mismo sucede en tejido cicatricial (por ejemplo cicatrices provocadas por implantes de cabello) o en casos muy avanzados de alopecia androgenética (cuando han pasado varios años desde la caída del cabello)

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre el tratamiento de 6 meses y el de 3 meses?
La loción Vytrus Hair actua reactivando las células madre de la base de la raíz del cabello (células de la papila dérmica) que están inactivas cuando hay pérdida de cabello. Cuando éstas se activan, el ciclo capilar se reinicia otra vez.
Con el tratamiento de 3 meses se consigue detener la caída del cabello. Este tratamiento se recomienda a personas que tengan problemas temporales de caída o de debilitamiento del cabello, por ejemplo por culpa de estrés, o porque el pelo no está bien nutrido. Cabe la posibilidad que, en tres meses, también se aprecie crecimiento de cabello nuevo, pero eso depende de cada caso.
Con el tratamiento de 6 meses, se detiene la caída del cabello en los primeros 2 meses, y a partir del tercer mes, el pelo empieza a crecer. Este es el tratamiento recomendado para gente con diferentes tipos de alopecia (ver pregunta anterior para más información)
¿Cuándo se enviará el producto?
Durante Septiembre.
No podíamos empezar a producir hasta que hubiéramos conseguido el 100% en Indiegogo. Ahora que ya lo hemos conseguido, esperaremos hasta el final de la campaña (el 5 de Agosto) para saber la cantidad exacta de unidades que debemos producir para todos los que han comprado.
Empezaremos a producir durante agosto, y el producto estará listo a principios de septiembre. Lo empaquetaremos debidamente y lo mandaremos a los mecenas sobre la mitad de septiembre. Estad atentos a las actualizaciones para saber más de este proceso!
¿Porqué el tratamiento debe empezar en septiembre?
De la misma manera que sucede con muchas plantas, nuestro pelo es estacional, lo que significa que actúa diferente dependiendo de la estación donde estemos. En otoño cae más, y durante la primavera crece. Septiembre es el mejor momento para hacer un tratamiento de crecimiento de cabello, porque es el inicio de la temporada de muda.
¿Cómo funciona Indiegogo?
Indiegogo es una plataforma de micro-mecenazgo que permite a emprendedores, inventores o empresas start up lanzar productos innovadores, y da la oportunidad a las personas, a ayudar y colaborar , financiando los proyectos para que se produzcan estos productos, recibiéndolos a cambio. Funciona de una forma muy simple: Una empresa o persona ofrece un producto, lo ofrece a través de recompensas de diversos precios, y establece un objetivo de dinero a conseguir. Cada vez que alguien (un mecenas) colabora comprando una de las recompensas, este objetivo final está más cerca de conseguirse. En el tipo de campaña que nosotros hacemos, si la empresa no llega al 100% del objetivo, no se financia y el dinero se devuelve a todos los mecenas. Por suerte para nosotros, llegamos al 100%a los 20 días de campaña, así que Vytrus Hair se hará realidad muy pronto!
¿Dónde se envía Vytrus Hair?
Vytrus Hair se envía exclusivamente a países de la Unión Europea.
¿Por qué solo a Europa?
El mundo es un lugar muy grande...y también lleno de regulaciones y problemas de importación y exportación entre fronteras. Nuestro producto está en el rango de dermo-cosmético, lo que no necesita regulaciones especiales a parte de las que ya tenemos (no toxicidad, etc), pero en otros lugares del mundo, se requiere tiempo y dinero para conseguir la aprobación especial de cada país. Llegado el momento tuvimos que decidir si podíamos, como empresa pequeña, afrontar estos gastos y retraso en la campaña, y decidimos que no. Así que Vytrus Hair no se vende fuera de la Unión Europea...de momento! Hay varias empresas fuera que han comprado el ingrediente principal de Vytrus Hair, Capilia Longa, y muy pronto habrá productos en el mercado con este componente! En Brasil, por ejemplo, ya está a la venta en farmacias de formulación.
¿Cómo funcionarán los envíos?
Una vez tengamos el producto producido y empaquetado, procederemos a enviarlo a todos los mecenas durante Septiembre a la dirección que nos hayan indicado.
¿Hay que pagar más por envío?
El producto se envía desde Terrassa, Barcelona. El pago del envío varía depende del país y lugar donde se tiene que enviar, pero todo esto se paga cuando se produce la compra del producto, así que no habrá que pagar extra más adelante.
¿Cómo se usa Vytrus Hair?
Vytrus Hair es una loción muy fácil de usar. Hay que aplicarla , directamente sobre el cuero cabelludo dando un suave masaje cada noche antes de ir a dormir. Es importante hacerlo de forma constante durante todo el tratamiento. Si se rompe el ciclo constantemente, o se deja de usar durante más de dos semanas, el producto no funcionará tan bien como debería.
¿Por qué de noche?
Nuestro cabello crece cuando dormimos, así que es el mejor momento para aplicar la loción.
¿Qué pasa cuando termino el tratamiento?¿Dentro de un año, podré volver a comprar Vytrus Hair?
Al terminar el tratamiento, se recomienda dejar descansar el cabello durante 6 meses (durante la época de crecimiento primaveral), y es recomendable volver a hacer un tratamiento de mínimo 3 meses para mantener los resultados obtenidos el primer año.
Nosotros no venderemos Vytrus Hair en un futuro, porque no nos dedicamos a eso (somos expertos en producir ingredientesa partir de células madre vegetales, pero no productos finales). Pero eso no significa que no puedas conseguir Vytrus Hair nunca más. El ingrediente principal de la loción es nuestro activo Capilia Longa, que ya estamos vendiendo desde hace un año a múltiples empresas de dermo-cosmetica de varios países del mundo (entre ellos España, Alemania o Brasil)

What is Vytrus Hair, and for who?
Vytrus Hair is a hair lotion that stops hair loss and makes hair grow again. It is recommended for men and women, from 18 to 65 years old, with some kind of hair loss or hair thinning.
Will it work for my kind of problem?
This is a very difficult question to answer, because it depends on every special case, but mainly, if you have a genetic problem, or hair loss due to stress, hormones...it can work. It doesn't work with some kind of alopecia such as alopecia universal or areata. Also, it won't work if your hair have fallen long time ago, or if you have cicatrization tissue (due to hair implants) on your scalp, since it works on the stem cells at the root of the hair, and in this kind of tissue this stem cells have already dies.

What is the difference between the 6 month treatment and the 3 month treatment?
The Vytrus Hair lotion acts re-activating the stem cells at the root of the hair (dermal papilla cells). Once these are reactivated, the hair cycle gets a reset, meaning that it starts again.
With the 3 month treatment you will see that hair stops falling. This treatment is recommended for people that have a more temporal problem, such as hair loss due to stress or hair that is not well nourished and breaks easily. You might be able to grow new hair after the 3 month treatment,and not only stop hair loss, but that will depend on each case.
With the 6 month treatment, hair will stop falling during the first 2 months, and then after the 3rd month, you will start seeing hair growth. This treatment is recommended for people that have different kinds of alopecia (see question above for more info)
When will the product be sent?
During September.
We couldn't produce until we knew for sure that the product was going to be backed (100%) on Indiegogo. Now that we know it is, we will wait until the end of the campaign (August 5) to know exactly how many units do we need to serve everybody.
We will start producing during the middle of August, and the product will be ready at the beginning of September. We will pack everything and send it to backers around middle September. Stay tuned for updates to discover more about this project!
Why does the treatment have to start on September?
Just like lots of plants, our hair is seasonal, which means it acts different depending on which season it is. On autumn it falls, and during spring it grows again. September is the best time to do a hair growth treatment, since it is the beginning of the falling season.
How does Indiegogo work?
Indiegogo is a Crowdfunding platform that allows entrepreneurs, inventors, or startup companies to launch innovative products, and gives people the opportunity to offer their help to fund these products and receive them in exchange. It works in a very simple way: a company offers a product, an establishes an economic goal to reach. Every time somebody backs the project and purchases a perk, this goal gets closer to get achieved. In the type of Crowdfunding we have done, if the company doesn't reach 100% the product doesn't get funded, or produced, and the money is returned to the backers. Luckily for us, we reached 100% last week, so Vytrus Hair will become a reality very soon!

Why only Europe?
The world is very big...and also full of regulations and export troubles that vary from country to country. Our product falls in the range of dermo-cosmetics which is totally fine to sell in Europe, (with the tests we have already done: no toxicity, etc), but in some other countries time and money will be needed to get the special approval that each country asks for. There was a moment when we had to decide if, as small company, we could face those expenses and delay in the campaign, and we finally decided we couldn't afford it. So Vytrus Hair is not sold outside the European Union...at least, not yet! There are several companies in the world that have already bought Capilia Longa, Vytrus Hair main Ingredient, and soon there would be products in the market with this active. In Brasil, for example, you can already buy them in specialized formulation pharmacies.
How does the shipping work?
Once we have the product produced and packaged we will proceed to ship it to the backers during September, to the address provided when bought.
What are the shipment fees?
The product is send from Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain, and the shipment fees could vary depending on the country it has to be delivered. This is all paid when you buy the product, so you won't have to worry about paying extra fees after.
How to use Vytrus Hair
Vytrus Hair is a really easy lotion to use. It has to be applied directly in the scalp with a genttle massage every night before going to sleep. It is important to do it constantly during the 3 or 6 months that your treatment lasts. If you break the cycle constantly, or stop using it during several days, the product won't work as well as it is supposed to do.
Why at night?
The hair on our head grows while we sleep, so it's better to apply it then.
What happens after the treatment? Would I be able to buy Vytrus Hair in the future?
When the treatment finishes, it is recommended to leave hair rest during 6 months, and then ideally a minimum of 3 months treatment should be done again after, to maintain the results achieved.
We won't be selling Vytrus Hair in the future, but that doesn't mean that you won't be able to get it. Vytrus Hair main ingredient is our active Capilia Longa, and it is already sold to dermo-cosmetic companies in different countries in the world (including Spain, Germany, Brasil).
Some of these companies are already producing products with the ingredient, to sell to the public, and some of them will do it before one year passes, for sure. We will keep you updated any time one of this products gets on sale!
