Hello!
Water is Life is a documentary about the current water crises on Native lands through the Indigenous perspective.
Vanessa Bowen will travel to Standing Rock Sioux Reservation to capture the protest of the Dakota Access Pipeline, interview the Protectors, and will continue the story to her own tribal lands of the Navajo Nation to get an in-depth look at its current water crises.
We Need Your Help
Currently, we will need to purchase a new tripod, camera stabilizer, and a solar charger.
- We hope to raise $2,500.
- Additional funding will be applied to production.
- In our travel to Standing Rock, Water is Life would deliver much needed supplies to the camp for those who are protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. Currently, the State has withdrawn it's supply of fresh water: http://www.commondreams.org/news/2016/08/23/off...
