❉ Short Summary
I’m Waterflower, an experimental artist and musician blending gritty digital hardcore with plant & fungi-generated sound. This April, I’m heading to Japan for my first tour, playing Tokyo & Osaka, including Tokyo Music Bridge Festival.
I was relying on cultural funding to support this tour, but my application was rejected. Flights & accommodation are now more expensive due to the waiting period, making this tour a huge financial challenge. I need your help to make it happen.
✴ What I Need & What You Get
I’m raising €3500 to cover flights, accommodation, and touring costs.
If I don’t reach the full goal, funds will go directly to essential costs, prioritizing travel & performance logistics.
❈ The Impact
This tour is a major step for Waterflower, helping me:
✅ Appear in the Japanese underground scene
✅ Perform at a key showcase festival
✅ Represent Latvian experimental music internationally
Every contribution helps keep independent, boundary-pushing music alive.
⚠️ Risks & Challenges
Touring as an independent artist is tough—costs are high, and funding is unpredictable. I’ve built up what I do through over a decade of DIY perseverance, but without external support, there is little to rely on - touring is at risk and anyone who is doing so, is a bit mad, in the way the music industry works today.
Your help directly enables these performances—no label, no middleman, just music.

❋ Thank You
Big, big thank you to anyone who has supported Waterflower, no matter how small, warm, or amazingly kind the contribution has been. I can't keep on doing this without you guys. Thank YOU!
