The first 15 minutes of the morning often sets the tone for the rest of our day. Whether we are in a rush to get out the door or have ample time, we all practice regular bathroom routines that help us prepare for the day ahead.

For example, brushing our teeth and bathing are essential tasks that maintain our overall health and wellness. Many of us also like to prepare for a day by reviewing our schedule and checking the weather and traffic reports to avoid the unexpected. All in all, we spend a fixed amount of time on a daily basis maintaining our health and mentally preparing for the upcoming day.

Wavee has developed the W-1 - the world’s first electric toothbrush speaker system - to enhance the everyday bathroom experience with an innovative concept that blends our commitment to effective oral care with modern technology. 

The W-1 works double duty in the bathroom through a seamless integration of two devices that perform important functions within a person’s daily routine. The first is an electric toothbrush built with leading technology to provide effective teeth cleaning through a powerful 3-speed motor and sonic wave brush head - the second is an accompanying water-resistant speaker with a built in charging base for the brush. Wavee’s speaker delivers full and rich-sounding audio, allowing users to consume their favourite content - music, podcasts, audiobooks and more - while they are getting ready in the bathroom. 

Through technology and innovative design, the Wavee team has fused these two functions together to create the market’s first electric toothbrush and integrated speaker product - creating an entirely new and unique user experience. The W-1 is the missing piece that will help transform the common bathroom space into a secluded haven, maximizing the time (sometimes up to 60 minutes/day or more) users spend before taking on the day.   

To kickoff 2020, Wavee officially unveiled the W-1 to the public at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. To our appreciation, the feedback and response from the media, attendees and follow exhibitor was overwhelmingly positive. The event served as a platform for us to capture user feedback in real-time, expand our network and forge new connections that will ultimately help drive the Wavee brand forward. After 4 days of fun and hard work, the team is even more excited to deliver this product in March 2020.

The bathroom is a sacred place for many people. It’s where we go to prepare ourselves for the world, make sure we look our best, and often times it serves as a quiet place to take a breath during a busy day. On a daily basis, time spent in the bathroom feels fairly insignificant, but a new survey out of the United Kingdom finds that the average adult will spend well more than a year of their lives in the bathroom.

According to a survey of 2,000 British adults - men will spend 373 days, or 23 minutes per day; and women will spend 456 days, or 29 minutes per day.

Three Brushing Modes  

Three different brushing modes are controlled through the illuminated power button, ranging from Standard (41,000 RPM), White (48,000 RPM) and Sensitive (33,000 RPM) - all using the sonic wave movement.

Two-minute timer with 30-second intervals

Dentists recommend that you brush your teeth for two minutes to ensure a sufficient clean for all areas of your mouth, and we have a built-in timer that automatically shuts the brush off when time is up.

Charge lasts up to 25 days

The brush is powered by a long lasting Lithium Ion battery which can last up to 240 minutes (Sensitive mode), so don’t worry about losing power when you bring your brush along when travelling. The electric toothbrush is inductively charged by the speaker unit through magnets when placed in the designated charging area.
