Overview
Two New Jersey college students have teamed up to make 'What Feels Right,' a dark comedy about a cut-throat workplace conflict. With students from both New York University and Montclair State University, our combined efforts will form a diverse yet collaborative team to help fulfill Ken and Tim's creative vision. We're working hard to make our vision a reality and every dollar counts!

Story

David Dewgood - an honest, hardworking employee - is competing for the promotion to pay off medical expenses after his father’s passing. What's more, he is forced to deal with the constant harassment from Jeff Baldwin, a brown nosing jerk who relies on charm instead of effort to get ahead. The two butt heads again and again until one night their world gets turned upside-down when a serial killer threatens both of their lives. Written by Ken Dwyer and adapted for the screen by Tim Preston, What Feels Right contrasts the safe, predictable nature of a workplace with the dangerous uncertainty of a killer on the loose.

The Impact

When considering our campaign that way, every dollar we raise toward our goal is incredibly valuable. Furthermore, an investment in What Feels Right is a contribution toward young artists. Supporting short films and student productions, such as this one, makes you an active participant in the artistic community and helps bring in a new generation of visual storytellers. Donating funds to make this idea a reality serves to propel everyone involved in this project onward to eventual careers.

It’s in no way hyperbolic to say that a well-made and evocative video or piece of art can garner buzz, acclaim, or otherwise, thereby leading fellow artists, investors, and companies, perhaps, to reach out and make a difference in one of or many of our lives. Of course, that ripple effect can only begin with an initial act of gratitude. Every contribution helps us greatly.
