Who Am I- Pakistani or India? - The Film
About Us-
We are a small group of individuals, who are trained from India Today Group and have just started a small start up film production house (P2P Productions) in New Delhi, India. Few months back we visited the Pakistani refugee camp in Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, and after experiencing their terrible and disturbing condition, we thought of helping them in any way possible.
The Project-
Pakistani Hindus, who are they? Where and to whom do they belong? or are they just hanging in the middle of no where? Do they have any future or to be more precise do they have any present, because right now they don't know if they have any tomorrow.....
Currently, there are approximately 6000 Pakistani Hindus, residing in Delhi-NCR. They came to India for the basic help after leading a tormented and terrible life in Pakistan. But to their utter surprise the quest for the support gets no avail.
Life in Pakistan
Being a minority (Hindu) in Pakistan, they go through torture on a regular basis. There is a violation of basic human rights in Pakistan, like they can't send their children to schools due to fear of abduction and conversion, especially in the case of females. Minor girls are kidnapped and raped, and forcefully gets married off to a Muslim . They have a limited source of earning livelihood and that too can't be done in a peaceful manner. Moreover, they are not allowed to follow any rituals of Hinduism like performing last rites and celebrating Hindu festivals, many temples are turning into slaughterhouses to hurt their religious sentiments.
Living the life like this which is equal to hell, they're running away to India permanently, with the excuse of pilgrimage..... in search of a safe and better future
Life in India
With the high hopes, they're coming to India. But the irony is that they were Hindus in an Islamic country and now they are Pakistani in India. Here they are now struggling for basic needs in refugee camps. The state and central government are not paying any attention to their problems. The condition of refugee camp is such that there is no safety, security, education, employment, sanitation in the camp but only fake promises.
The Issue and our objective

As they come here with the excuse of pilgrimage, so technically they are migrants, but actually they run away to save themselves and their religion so it makes them refugee.
Our point is that how does it stop us and the Government to help them if they are refugees or migrants. Being a human being first is not enough? As we are specialized in Audio-Visual and digital medium, so our idea is to make a detailed film on them and to promote is vigorously, so as to raise complete awareness on this serious issue and help them through it.
We seek your support-
As we are a start up, so we need your contribution in raising funds for making the film and the promotion afterwards. Your any help counts. With your contribution, we will make a good detailed film and then we will be able to pitch it to concerned authorities. The more their issues would be visible the more is the chance of help and support from India and around the globe.
What We Want- What You get
We need 14,534 $ for making the film, promotions in both Online and Offline platforms.
Shooting- Hiring shooting equipments like Cameras, tripods, microphone etc till the shoot part gets over.
Editing- Support from the good editing agency for refining the footage and making it look professional
Online Promotion- Digital marketing- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc
Broadcast Promotions- on local TV Channels and DTH and FM stations
Offline- We'll travel to multiple cities for the awareness. Targeting Student crowd specially.
