Wishbone is a project that came from a very personal place. The game was inspired by the overwhelming grief of losing my real-life dog to poison. To cope with the pain, I started working on a small platformer prototype as a distraction, but as I worked on it, I kept thinking about my dog and wishing he was still here.
That’s when it hit me: I wanted to create something in his memory, something that could live on forever. And that’s how Wishbone, a game about making your dog immortal, came to life.
This is my way of honouring his memory and imagining a world where he could live forever.

Hi, I go by the name Teinimon. I pursue game development in my free time while working a full-time job. I have a background in Visual Basic .NET development, which introduced me to the fundamentals of programming.
In 2017, I dove into the GameMaker engine and have been exploring and learning various aspects of game development ever since.

Game development always comes with its share of challenges, especially for someone like me who is publishing a game for the first time. However, I’m confident in my ability to deliver Wishbone as I initially envisioned.
The game is already fully playable from start to finish, with all 10 levels and mechanics complete, so this eliminates the risk of the project being abandoned or left incomplete.
That said, I still have some polishing and additional features to implement before the official release. To be fully transparent, these include refining the menu system, supporting multiple languages for the menu text, integrating Steam achievements, and enhancing gameplay feedback with small visual effects, implementing music and sound effects, and making sure the game runs smoothly on the Steam Deck.
While some of these tasks are new to me, I’m committed to learning and dedicating the time needed to ensure a polished and enjoyable experience for players.
