ABOUT EMH:

EMH Productions supports the art of acting, directing, producing and writing through live theatre productions, casting director workshops,  film, TV and casting. My goal is to provide an arena that artists in this industry can network, grow their craft and find support to achieve their dreams. 

This project with Aditya Putcha started over two years ago, when he brought to me the idea he wanted to write a stage play based on his own experiences trying to find "the one".  Over these past two years, I've watched this play grow and deepen and finally hit that mark of being ready for the stage.  It speaks to so many truthful every day experiences in trying to find our own self worth, in looking for love in all the wrong and right places, and to the basic human need for compassion.  A piece well worth the time and effort we've put in. 

What you help us achieve is the World Premiere of Aditya's play, Inversion, at the prestigious Hollywood Fringe Fest!  Fringe began in Edinburgh, which is the largest arts festival in the world and has branched off into countries and cities worldwide, allowing a huge playground for the artists out there who in turn inspire us to laugh, to cry, to truly be human. 

What We Need & What You Get

To achieve this amazing opportunity:

$2500 - this pays for our venue, the Fringe Fest entrance fee, the props and set for the show, and marketing costs for getting the show on the map for the Fringe Fest audiences and you!

3)  Chance to have a sit down with the amazing artists who have brought this to life: Cast, Writer, and Producer/Director

Even if we don't reach our goal, EVERY BIT HELPS.  It will go towards our venue and production costs for the show.  Theatre needs you, to survive, to thrive and to continue to inspire all of us!

The Impact

So often we look to make a huge impact on the world, not realizing that by simply giving a little to one person, we reach a whole host of others.  EMH has brought 4 other original works to the stage, and every time it's been beyond rewarding to see how many people were touched, helped, inspired by the writer who took time to put their story on paper.  Every night, every performance reached out to the hearts and minds of our audiences.  One became 1000.

Risks & Challenges

This is EMH's 5th production for an original work, and the 3rd world premiere.  Bringing a world premiere to a festival is a whole new challenge, one that EMH is more than equipped to handle.  The challenges of doing a festival are vastly reduced simply because it is Hollywood Fringe:  They are beyond helpful in working with producers to make a show a success!  Between their expertise and the EMH know how, this show will take flight.

Other Ways You Can Help

If you want to help us out in other ways, we need volunteers to run our box office, and help with set up and tear down for each performance.  This is a festival, so we have 15 minutes to set up our show, 90 minutes to perform, and another 15 to vacate the premises.  It's fast, and needs to run like clockwork.  Anyone who wants to join in with us would be most welcome!
