A collaboration with three female surf artists, our ocean art bikinis are made in a mix of ECONYL® , which is 100% regenerated from plastic waste, and LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™. When tested against competitor's fabrics in real life conditions, this mix proved to be two times more resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils. Our artist partners receive a commission on every sale, so you'll be helping us support their work as well.

10% TO PROTECT CORAL REEFS

As a Dive Instructor and surfer, I've seen firsthand the damage beneath the surface. Damage from coral bleaching, pollution, and unsustainable fishing practices, the results are heartbreaking and overwhelming.

Surf Worthy is my way of becoming part of the solution, donating 10% of profits to worthy projects. After much in-depth research, I hit upon the Coral Triangle Center. Based in Indonesia, they declare, and protect national marine reserves, plant new mangroves and corals, and educate the local population on how to be more sustainable with their fishing practices. I used to teach diving around the reefs of Indonesia, so I have a deep love for the marine life and coral systems there.

Sasha is a Russian-born travelling mural painter, surfer, tattoo artist, and participant in the ‘Art to be Stolen’ movement, leaving her art on streets around the world for lucky passers-by.

Abri is a surfer based in San Diego. She paints beautiful ocean and surf inspired art, currently playing with Gouache paint, a kind of acrylic-water-colour mix. "I want my art to make an impact on everything around it, from changing people's emotions to helping protect the ground we walk on and the sea we swim in."

THE PEOPLE MAKING OUR CLOTHES

My research to find the right factory who pays a fair wage has been gruelling. As a traveller of 15 years, I've been blessed to experience the hospitality of so many wonderful people and different cultures. When I decided to start a business that relies on manufacturing, finding a factory who shared my ethics was top of my list.

I researched different factories, national averages, what a 'living wage' means in different countries, and asked people what a fair living wage meant to them. Then I found the one! They pay their employees double the minimum wage, and provide medical care. The people there are stoked to be working for them, and that's why the quality of their work is so high.

WILL YOU STILL RECEIVE YOUR ORDER IF WE DON'T REACH OUR TARGET?

Yes! Our target is based on meeting minimum order requirements for a one-stop-shop production house. This means they have our fabric, they have digital printing capabilities, and can do all the hand-cutting and sewing required, PLUS label printing in-house. If we don't reach our target, we will still be able to produce a smaller collection and fulfill your orders, it just means that we'll be using our existing suppliers. They are all small companies who specialise in one thing: printing, fabric sourcing, sewing, etc. We've visited them all individually and can vouch for their healthy working conditions, it just means we'll be doing a lot more running around to produce a much smaller order of our designs.

To check your measurements against our sizing, refer to the table below. For the bust measurement, measure around the fullest part of your bust, (over the nipple!). For the pants, measure around the fullest part of your hip; roughly 20cm below your waistline.
